近日大西北传来喜讯，位于宁夏自治区首府银川市的宁夏大学，继不久前一次购入爱如生四库系列数据库（四库著录书、四库存目书、四库奏毁书、四库未收书）和中国金石库初集、佛教经典库初集之后，再次斥资购入爱如生敦煌文献库初集。目前，宁夏大学拥有的爱如生数字产品多达4库7集，不但是宁夏自治区也是整个大西北的中国传统文化数字资源重镇。

多年来，西北地区因受经济的拖累，在置备中国传统文化数字资源方面一直止步不前，而最近一年来这一记录被彻底改写。目前爱如生数字产品的西北地区客户，除宁夏大学外，在陕西有西北大学、陕西师范大学、陕西理工大学、西藏民族大学，在甘肃有兰州大学、西北师范大学、兰州新区职教园区、甘肃教育出版社，在新疆有新疆大学，只有青海省暂时还是空白。西北地区后发连连，绝不是偶然的，它反映了西北地区经济文化正处在飞速发展之中，令人欣喜。

Ningxia University Purchased Database of Dunhuang Documents

Recently, good news came from the northwest of China. Ningxia University, located in Yinchuan City, the capital of Ningxia Autonomous Region, after having Series Database of Sikuquanshu I, II, III and IV, Database of Chinese Bronze and Stone Inscriptions I, and Database of Buddhist Classics, purchased Database of Dunhuang Documents I this time. At present, Ningxia University has as many as 4 databases and 7 collections of digital products, and this university is not only an important univeristy of China's traditional cultural digital resource in Ningxia Autonomous Region, but also one in the whole northwest China.           

For many years, the northwest region made slow headway on the purchase of digital resources of traditional Chinese culture due to financial strains, but this record is completely rewritten in this year. At present, in addition to Ningxia University, there are some other customers in Northwest China, including Northwest University, Shaanxi Normal University, Shaanxi University of Technology, and Xizang Minzu University in Shaanxi Province, Lanzhou University, Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou Vocational Education Management Committee, and Gansu Education Press Co., Ltd in Gansu Province, and Xinjiang University in Xinjiang province. Only one province- Qinghai Province in China doesn’t become the customer of Erudition’s digital products for the time being. It is no accident that more and more universities in northwest China are becoming Erudition’s customers. It reflects that economy and culture of Northwest China is developing rapidly, which is gratifying.
